A stone-built free house at Upper Hulme below The Roaches, family owned since 1985 and reopened after refurbishment in 2021. The pub serves cask ales and home-cooked food from Wednesday to Sunday, drawing walkers off the moorland paths as well as regulars from Leek and nearby villages.
